The Junk Food Film Festival is back for year three! Come rot your brain over two days with eight films ranging from cult classics to so-bad-they're-good flops. As always, there will be audience participation, prizes, and all sorts of little surprises along the way.

A cinematic flop on its release that eventually blossomed into a cult classic on home video. But how do you even market a film like this? Well, if you’re a 20th Century Fox executive in 2002, you just show the Matrix/Cow parody and gopher nunchucks scene in every single TV spot and trailer. Little did we all know this was a truly unique comedy with insanely quotable lines. Make sure to bring lots of nuts. -

New York Ninja (Saturday Night Spotlight)

In the vein of Miami Connection, this is another gem that was filmed in 1984 but not released until 2021 after the film was restored and massively over-dubbed. It’s about a sound technician for a news station whose pregnant wife is murdered so he goes on a bloody rampage of ninja stars, swords, and awesome hair.
Cult legends Linnea Quigley and Cynthia Rothrock voice characters.

We saved the worst for last. As in previous JFFF years, we close the festival with the worst movie we could find. Only the brave can sit through our Endurance Test film. An exclusive premiere of the second episode of "Nerds Doing Good" from filmmaker Keith Hopkins of Hexagon Motion Pictures.
Episode 2 focuses on the continued efforts of The Twin Ports Ghostbusters to raise money for local charities. Meanwhile, filmmaker Keith Hopkins casts a wider net in search of Ghostbusters doing good around the country, from Austin, Texas to New York.

We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Twin Ports Ghostbusters this year! The Twin Ports Ghostbusters is a team of friends working to support children and their families by raising donations for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest, and additional charities, all while sharing their love for the films, fandom, and franchise of Ghostbusters.
